So, did my second run of couch to 5k, and it was actually OK. I went a little faster, and I made it through! I feel awesome after running, even if I am unbelieeevably sweaty. I am so dedicated that I'm bringing my workout clothing home this weekend, so I can do my run on Saturday :)

In diet news: feelin groovy, ate too many cookies today, but overall doin well :)

Tomorrow morning I leave for home bright and early, because I am off to NEFX. Hope to see some of you all there :) and to give Gareth some art. Staying at home is the only downside since I kiiinda don't wanna deal with the family, but I plan to be out all day almost every day. Getting in late on Sunday night is the only negative, so we'll see how I do homework wise. I am bringing my books home so I will be lugging them around with me doing problems between stuff. :D

I used this free pattern on Lion Brand Yarn's website to make an octopus.  I used blue yarn instead of purple.  It was easy!!  Though the tentacles took forever.  Have fun!!

Okay, the craziness is continuing, and now I'm reluctant to say the end is in sight because every time I say that, the end recedes and the light at the end of the tunnel becomes that much dimmer. Applications for next year are almost done, but then there's all of the other crap I haven't been doing... crap like my dissertation, let's say, which sort of needs to be finished before I can, you know, ACCEPT A JOB THAT MIGHT POTENTIALLY BE OFFERED TO ME.

I'm also depressed and annoyed seeing as I haven't written fic in ages. I just, I can't write, y'all-- I'm too exhausted and tired of looking at Word by the time I get home. Maybe I'll try icons or something, because at least Photoshop is not a word processing program. Of course, there are stories in my head, and they vanish every time I get bold and think "maybe I can just sneak Word open here while I pretend I'm totally doing something else."

Anyway, 5.09! I warn you, this is nonsensical. The exhaustion and keyboard-loathing is kicking in.

No matter what I do, because it's so low quality, I can't seem to lighten it up & make it look somewhat decent. Any idea how I can do this without loosing all the detail & without everything blending in?

The orgasm hits me hard enough to have me arching up off the bed, stealing my dreams and my breath in one fell swoop and leaving me sweaty, limp and sated.

The weather the past few days has been amazing. Slightly chilly so that a hoodie and vest doesn't make you cold but doesn't overheat you. The sun has been out and it's been beautiful

Then why the heck are people in such a bad mood? Now, with the level of exhaustion I'm at, I now simply stop, stare and wait for the tirade to finish. This morning's was the best because the guy was yelling at me something fierce. Angry and frustrated and yelling. And I stood there, when I'd had enough I calmly stated why yelling at me is pointless and pretty much didn't react. It only made him look like an idiot and saved me from a spike in blood pressure and heightened anxiety.

A complete difference from yesterday.

Hooray.

The change in temprament today prompted me to come home and finally do some cleaning. I hadn't been able to clean for all of September and most of October due to the slight issue of not being able to weight bear on my left leg. And then it just got so dusty and dirty that it just seemed like too much to start somewhere. I didn't know where to start and just the thought of undertaking it was overwhelming. But at some point today I thought 'screw it, now or never'. So I went shopping after work (we needed a new microwave) and got some cleaning supplies (Fabreeze makes a dusting thingie now) and came home and started cleaning. Took a break right near the end to have some dinner and then came back up, finished and then took a shower.

Now i'm exhausted. And waiting for tonight's Supernatural. Which unfortunately I'm watching solo since leopardchic79 is at the ballet. So it's ZIng and I flying solo and I'm not going to watch it in bed because I KNOW I'll fall asleep. Tomorrow I'm heading to the Royal Winter Agricultural Fair which I'm very excited about. I wish I had the whole day off but didn't think about it in time and couldn't get it off. So my friend is meeting me after work and we're going to head down. Check out the dog shows, check out the horse shows, eat too much food and kick off my weekend with a bang!

The irony is that there really wasn't a lot of blood this week.
